CAD Designer

Job Location: Pompano Beach, Fl

Full Time position

South Florida based, we are now hiring experienced CAD Designers in our Pompano Beach office with a background in CAD Design as well as knowledge of Navisworks.

Some of your duties will include the following:

• Understand written instructions from designers and engineers to generate CAD Models for Fire Alarm & Electrical.

• Review early designs for constructability analysis

• Conducts clash detection and visual walkthroughs

• Recognizes the necessity of adhering to deadlines

• Holds weekly coordination meetings with project team members

• Revise’s drawings based on instructions from project managers and field managers.

• Review’s engineering data to ensure compliance with the original design plans.

• Modifies existing drawings

• Store’s drawings electronically and generate prints for later use

• Perform other duties not specifically stated, which may be assigned periodically by Management

What you will need:

• Associate degree (preferred)

• Minimum 2 years experience Auto Cad

• Minimum of 2 years of Fire Alarm/Fire Protection experience (preferred)

• US Work Authorization.

Salary Range: $52k to $70k depending on qualifications and experience.
